ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) — A video recording device was found in a Round Rock elementary school staff restroom on Wednesday.

The camera, hidden in a styrofoam drinking cup pointed towards the restroom stall, was found and reviewed by Fern Bluff Elementary School officials. They identified the person who placed the camera in the restroom as third grade teacher Robert Lance Bradley, 36.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office says Bradley is seen in the recording setting up the camera and then leaving the restroom. Deputies say a woman is seen entering the restroom and using the facilities, before Bradley returns and retrieves the camera.

Round Rock ISD says, once they were notified of the incident, Bradley was immediately removed from campus, law enforcement was contacted and the school was thoroughly searched for any additional recording devices.

The district says investigators did not find any student victims or additional recording devices.

Bradley has been employed by the school since 2007. He was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with invasive visual recording. His bond has been set at $11,000. The offense is a state jail felony with a maximum of a two year sentence.

The sheriff’s office investigation is ongoing. Bradley is still listed as a third grade teacher on the Fern Bluff Elementary School website.

The school district says an Anonymous Alerts program allows members of the Round Rock ISD community to anonymously submit reports on incidents — including bullying, depression, dating violence and drug or alcohol abuse — through their website.
